  Our new session is here, a 1hr mix put together by Sam of S. Salter , this set weaves its way through a world of gentle ambience - from musical inspirations to unreleased new tracks. A collection of various ambient sounds that gently meld together, this mix offers a seamless hour of musical bliss. Using a blend of intricate piano compositions, poised production elements, and carefully placed field recordings, S. Salter tells the listener a story of nostalgia. A project by Amsterdam-based British artist Samuel Ruddick and Berlin-based Swiss artist Jeremia Reichen, the tracks evoke a longing for 'home' whilst in the midst of solitude and a search for the familiar. Compositions from debut album Juun are heavily influenced by Samuel’s native South West of England, and are completed by Jeremia’s distinct sound design and production techniques. A few days ago we learned of the death of the Norwegian producer Helge Tømmervåg , better known as Mind over MIDI . No further information on the event has been given, however it is an irreparable loss for those of us who knew his incessant work. Undoubtedly, he is a major figure in terms of quality and electronic production, with dozens of releases over several decades, perhaps not properly appreciated as it should be, leaving a great musical legacy. Hailing from Kristiansund on the northwest coast of Norway, Helge Tømmervåg crafted electronic sounds since the early '80s. His earliest work recorded under the now-familiar Mind over MIDI moniker arrived in the early '90s. He released scores of highly regarded and stylistically uncompromising sounds over the years, appearing on labels including Silent Seasons, Diametric, Hibernate, Whitelabrecs, ROHS! Ghost In The Loop is an emerging project from France, which, despite the short time it has been active, has already left its mark within the Ambient and Ambient-Electronic music scene. Led by the musician, composer and producer Aurélien Buiron , Ghost In the Loop is very clear about the type of music he want to create and the message he want to convey through it. He has three LP's, "Music For Liminal Spaces" (March 2022), "Cold Space Symmetry" (November 2022) and "Cold Space Symmetry / Ambient Rework" (June 2023), the latter two published by the Mare Nostrum Label, from France. On the cover of "Cold Space Symmetry" you can see the characteristic antennas of the large space observatories, specifically the IRAM Observatory (The Institute of Millimeter Radio Astronomy) based in France. Conducido por el músico, compositor y productor Aurélien Buiron , Ghost In the Loop tiene bien claro el tipo de música que quiere crear y el mensaje que desea transmitir a través de ella.
