  We have a new session, mixed and recorded live by Paranoid . Paranoid has been a journalist specializing in electronic music for more than a decade, writing for Cyclic Defrost (Australia) and Buenos Aliens (Latin America), and sporadically for a few others. He directed the Egg Music Box project with which he had a weekly radio show on BArcelonaCityFM. He also had the Rejected Ambient Works show on RadioREA. His musical selections range from IDM, Experimental, Ambient, Downtempo to shades of other genres. He has had radio shows in Ibiza, México and Argentina, among others. Paranoid also produces and edits his own tracks, it has been published by the Kahvi Collective label from Finland, Tingo Tongo Tapes from California and Guerrilla Tunes from Argentina in an edit to Lackluster. He has performanced in Tallinn, Tartu, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Buenos Aires, Riga, Mexico City and Reykjavik. He is currently back in Barcelona, Spain, after having spent five years in Estonia. Con mucho gusto les comparto nuestra nueva sesión, hecha por Alexandre Navarro , guitarrista, músico experimental, artista sonoro y productor de ambient de origen francés. La larga y prominente carrera de Navarro se remonta a mediados de la década de los '00. Publicando gran cantidad de trabajos de forma independiente, así como en disqueras y netlables, tales como Archipel, Real Audio, Laverna y Mandorla, label de culto en la escena electrónica y experimental mexicana, que fue fundada y dirigida por el músico y artista sonoro Manrico Montero (QEPD). Por si esto fuera poco, ha fundado y dirigido varias disqueras,  EKO Netlabel, SEM Label, DISQ AN & les disques imaginations. Line Spectrum is a side project by Oleg Puzan from Ukraine, who also release music as Dronny Darko .  Line Spectrum is a sound art project that is created to expand sonic boundaries through sound manipulations, often in a form of severe minimalism using a vast palette of microscopic sounds forming an immersive auditory monsoon. Slowly evolving textures mixed with field recordings and synthesized particles suits as a perfect perception environment for a listener.  His works often reflect the state of tranquility through blending together deep ambiences, musique concrète, avant-garde elements and silence. To date he has published works with the record labels Glacial Movements, Ediciones Éter and Shimering Moods. For his session he shares a showcase of his work which he titled "Fields of Resonance" . After our extensive mix for Drone Day, comes our new session, which this time is in charge of EEEM [eim] . Based in Espoo, Finland, Emmanuel Toledo aka Eeem [eim] is an audio engineer who likes to tell stories through music. Using equally field recordings, analog and digital instruments for his compositions. I personally have the pleasure of knowing his music for about ten years, as I mentioned in the Drone Day Mix note, he is one of the artists who made me delve into ambient-ambient drone, for which I have great appreciation and respect for his musical work, this makes his session flow naturally after the aforementioned mix. His discography is quite extensive and includes various collaborations with artists such as Gimu, Mathieu Lamontagne and Lauri Hallikainen , among others, spanning more than a decade of work.   Today is Drone Day and to celebrate it I gave myself the task of making an extended mix, a kind of massive drone. My idea was to choose tracks that are important to me, so its origins go back about 10 years ago, when I met and began to delve into Drone and Ambient Drone music. As someone who loves collecting music and making mixes, I always wanted to do something with those tracks that made me like and love this kind of music. The result was a selection of representative tracks from that time, and with a length a little longer than I expected, I really enjoyed delving into my archives and remembering the moments in which I was getting to know each of the artists, projects and producers and how these relate to my life at that time and in the present. I hope you can listen to it, complete or in fragments, but above all, enjoy it as much as I do and let yourself go, even for a moment. And happy Drone Day 2023.
